Gundam Base Limited Clear Color Edition
The biggest difference with this Gundam Base Limited V2 Assault Buster Gundam is immediately obvious.
Clear armour.
The white, blue, yellow, gold and red components of the standard model are reproduced using transparent plastic, while the darker joint and weapon components retain more conventional moulding.
This gives the completed model a distinctive layered appearance and allows light to pass through the armour, producing a very different effect from the standard HGUC release.
Put it somewhere with good lighting and the Clear Color finish really starts to work.
Build Three Different V2 Gundam Configurations
One of the strongest features of the HG V2 Assault Buster Gundam Clear Color is the ability to use its equipment to recreate different versions of the V2.

The huge Mega Beam Cannon is one of the most recognisable pieces of equipment carried by the V2 Buster and Assault Buster Gundam.
Mounted over the shoulder, it adds considerable height and visual weight to the finished model and helps give the Assault Buster its heavily armed appearance.
For display purposes, it also creates an excellent asymmetrical silhouette alongside the rest of the backpack equipment.
Spray Beam Pod
Mounted opposite the Mega Beam Cannon is the Spray Beam Pod, another major component of the V2 Buster equipment.
Together, the Mega Beam Cannon and Spray Beam Pod transform the rear silhouette of the V2 Gundam and make the Assault Buster configuration immediately recognisable.
They also ensure there’s plenty going on regardless of which angle you’re viewing the finished kit from.
Mega Beam Rifle
The kit includes the V2 Assault Gundam’s large Mega Beam Rifle, adding another substantial ranged weapon to an already impressive arsenal.
Its length and distinctive shape give the relatively compact V2 Gundam a much more imposing appearance, particularly when displayed alongside the additional Assault Buster equipment.
Mega Beam Shield
Also included is the enormous Mega Beam Shield, another signature component of the Assault equipment.

Variable Speed Beam Rifle & Additional Weapons
