Founded in 2016 by award-winning scale modeller Scott Taylor, The Scale Modellers Supply (SMS) was created with a simple mission — to provide hobbyists in Australia and around the world with premium-quality paints at an affordable price.
What began as a family-owned and operated business launched its first range of just 10 Premium Acrylic Lacquer colours in a single Melbourne hobby store on June 3rd, 2016. Since then, SMS has grown into a globally recognised brand, now supplying more than 115 stores worldwide (as of January 2024).
