Setsuna’s ultimate 00 Qan[T] configuration arrives absolutely loaded with GN weaponry.
The MG 1/100 00 Qan[T] Full Saber takes the already impressive 00 Qan[T] and adds the enormous GN Sword IV Full Saber, transforming Setsuna F. Seiei’s Mobile Suit into one of the most heavily armed designs from the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 universe.
Based on its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record, Bandai Spirits released this Master Grade in September 2018, combining the established MG 00 Qan[T] engineering with newly moulded Full Saber components, revised backpack details and an extraordinary number of weapon configurations.
GNT-0000/FS 00 Qan[T] Full Saber
The standard 00 Qan[T] is already one of Celestial Being’s most advanced Gundams.
The Full Saber takes things considerably further.
The additional equipment centres around the GN Sword IV Full Saber, creating an alternative combat configuration with significantly expanded offensive capability.
Visually, it completely changes the balance of the Qan[T].
The standard machine has a relatively clean, asymmetric silhouette dominated by its GN Shield and Sword Bits.
Add the Full Saber and suddenly there’s an enormous collection of blades hanging from the opposite side.
Subtle it isn’t.
From Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record
The Full Saber originates from Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record rather than the main A Wakening of the Trailblazer movie.
That makes it particularly appealing to Gundam 00 collectors looking beyond the core anime designs.
It’s unmistakably a Qan[T], but the additional equipment gives the machine enough personality to stand alongside the standard version without simply looking like the same model with a different sticker sheet.
Setsuna F. Seiei’s Gundam
The 00 Qan[T] was developed specifically for Setsuna F. Seiei, incorporating technology derived from the 00 Gundam while taking advantage of Setsuna’s abilities as a genuine Innovator.
It’s a beautifully clean Gundam design.
So naturally somebody decided it needed more swords.
Lots more swords.
GN Sword IV Full Saber
The star of this kit is unquestionably the enormous GN Sword IV Full Saber.
Bandai recreated the Full Saber equipment using newly moulded parts specifically developed for this MG release.
It isn’t simply one oversized sword.
The weapon is a modular system built around the GN Sword IV and three GN Gunblades, allowing its components to be rearranged into different offensive configurations.
That’s where this kit becomes particularly entertaining.
You can spend almost as much time rearranging the weapons as you do building the Gundam.
Three GN Gunblades
Three separate GN Gunblades are included.
These can interact with the GN Sword IV and with one another to create different weapon configurations.
Their smaller size also provides a great contrast with the enormous main blade, giving the Full Saber a much more complicated mechanical appearance than a conventional Gundam sword.
Bandai officially lists GN Gunblade ×3 as part of the kit’s equipment.
GN Sword V
The Full Saber doesn’t replace the Qan[T]’s existing equipment either.
You still get the distinctive GN Sword V.
This means you aren’t restricted to displaying the model permanently with the Full Saber equipment.
You can build poses around the standard Qan[T] weaponry, the Full Saber or an absolutely ridiculous combination of both.
And let’s be realistic.
Most people are choosing the ridiculous combination.
GN Sword Bits
The GN Sword Bits are also retained.
These form one of the most distinctive elements of the original Qan[T] design and can be mounted around the GN Shield or combined with the GN Sword V.
Their translucent green blade components contrast brilliantly against the Qan[T]’s white, blue and red armour.
Put the Full Saber on the opposite side and the finished model becomes a forest of GN blades.
GN Shield
The distinctive GN Shield is included on the Qan[T]’s left shoulder.
This carries the GN Sword Bits and creates the asymmetric silhouette that makes the machine immediately recognisable.
With the GN Shield and Sword Bits on one side and the Full Saber equipment on the other, this version becomes considerably broader and more aggressive than the standard Qan[T].
New Backpack Components
Bandai didn’t simply bolt the Full Saber onto the existing backpack.
The rear section incorporates newly moulded components, including a GN Condenser and the connection point required for mounting the GN Sword IV equipment.
It’s an important detail because it helps make the Full Saber look integrated into the Mobile Suit rather than like an aftermarket weapon somebody has clipped onto it.
Newly Sculpted Head Antenna
Another subtle change is found on the head.
Bandai includes a newly sculpted antenna based on the Full Saber visual design by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa.
It’s a much smaller change than the gigantic weapon hanging from the shoulder, but it’s exactly the sort of detail that helps differentiate this release for serious Gundam 00 collectors.
Master Grade Internal Engineering
At 1/100 scale, the 00 Qan[T] has considerably more room for mechanical detailing than its HG and RG counterparts.
The Master Grade construction gives the model a detailed internal structure underneath the armour, while multiple layers of exterior components reproduce the Qan[T]’s distinctive sleek design.
The finished model combines:
Detailed frame components.
Layered armour.
Clear GN components.
Large articulated joints.
And enough weaponry to make finding a suitable display pose an evening’s entertainment by itself.
Translucent GN Components
Clear green components are used throughout the model to recreate the distinctive GN technology associated with Celestial Being.
These provide a fantastic visual contrast against the Qan[T]’s predominantly white armour.
They also offer excellent possibilities for builders who enjoy additional finishing.
Careful detailing behind the translucent pieces can make the GN components appear considerably deeper and more mechanical.
Weapon Display Base Included
With this much equipment, Bandai wisely includes a dedicated weapon display base for the GN Sword IV.
This is particularly useful if you want to display some of the Full Saber equipment separately rather than attaching absolutely everything to the Gundam.
It also gives the enormous weapon system the attention it deserves as a model in its own right.
Extensive Markings
The kit includes dedicated markings for the GN Sword IV Full Saber, helping distinguish the new weapon components from those of the standard MG Qan[T].
Bandai supplies a combination of marking stickers, foil stickers and dry-transfer decals.
For builders who enjoy detailed Master Grade finishes, applying the additional technical markings really helps bring out the mechanical complexity of the Full Saber.
23 Runners of Parts
This isn’t a tiny project.
Bandai’s official specification lists 23 moulded runners in the box.
Between the Qan[T] itself, GN Sword Bits, GN Sword V, GN Shield, GN Sword IV and three GN Gunblades, there’s plenty here to keep Master Grade builders occupied.
It’s exactly the kind of MG you buy when you want a proper weekend project rather than something finished during lunch.
Brilliant Customisation Potential
The 00 Qan[T] Full Saber also offers plenty of opportunities for experienced builders.
Try adding metallic detailing to the frame.
Paint the internal GN components.
Enhance the clear green parts.
Add subtle panel lining.
Apply the full marking set.
Introduce different shades of white across the armour.
Or give the weapons additional metallic finishes to emphasise their mechanical construction.
A carefully finished Full Saber can become an exceptional display piece.

Why Add 00 Qan[T] Full Saber MG 1/100 to Your Collection?
Because apparently the standard 00 Qan[T] didn’t have enough swords.
The Full Saber takes one of the best-looking Celestial Being Gundams and turns the weapon system up several levels. The newly moulded GN Sword IV, three GN Gunblades, existing GN Sword V, Sword Bits and GN Shield give you a huge range of display possibilities.
More importantly, Bandai didn’t treat the Full Saber as a simple accessory pack. New backpack components, the GN Condenser connection, newly sculpted head antenna, dedicated markings and weapon stand help make this feel like a complete Master Grade release in its own right.
For Gundam 00 fans, Setsuna collectors or Master Grade builders who believe there’s no such thing as too many enormous translucent-green swords, the MG 00 Qan[T] Full Saber is an outstanding centrepiece.
GN Sword IV mounted. Three Gunblades ready. Sword Bits deployed. Setsuna probably still thinks it needs another sword. The 00 Qan[T] Full Saber MG 1/100 is Celestial Being excess at its absolute best.
