Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory is one of the most visually impressive and mechanically focused stories in the Universal Century timeline. What initially appears to be a mission to recover a stolen Gundam soon develops into something far more dangerous: Operation Stardust, an ambitious Zeon plan capable of changing the balance of power throughout the Earth Sphere.

Their conflict gives the series the feeling of a military aviation drama transferred into the world of Mobile Suits: prototype machines, test pilots, rival aces and increasingly dangerous missions.
