XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock (EW) MG 1/100

Bring Quatre Raberba Winner’s close-combat Gundam to your Master Grade collection with the MG 1/100 XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock EW.

From Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz comes the Gundam Sandrock EW, recreated in 1/100 Master Grade form with a design by Hajime Katoki, detailed construction and its unmistakable pair of Heat Shotels. Bandai originally released the kit on 29 October 2011.

Gundam Sandrock EW

Piloted by Quatre Raberba Winner, Sandrock is one of the five Gundams associated with Operation Meteor and specialises in powerful close-range combat.

The EW interpretation gives Sandrock the distinctive proportions and detailed styling associated with Hajime Katoki’s redesign, making it an excellent companion to the other Gundam Wing EW Master Grade kits.

Twin Heat Shotels

Sandrock’s defining weapons are its enormous Heat Shotels.

The pair can be wielded individually for close-combat poses or combined with the shield to recreate Sandrock’s distinctive Cross Crusher configuration. Bandai specifically highlights the ability to reproduce this signature weapon setup on the Master Grade.

Big curved blades.

One on each side.

Subtle was never really Sandrock’s approach.

Beam Machine Gun

Alongside the Heat Shotels, Bandai also includes a Beam Machine Gun, giving the finished model a ranged weapon option in addition to its signature close-combat equipment.

XXXG Master Grade Frame

The kit uses the XXXG Frame developed for Bandai’s Gundam Wing Master Grade series, providing the internal structure beneath Sandrock’s distinctive armour.

This makes Sandrock particularly well suited to being displayed alongside the other EW versions of Wing Gundam, Deathscythe, Shenlong and Heavyarms.

Classic Master Grade Build

As a Master Grade, Sandrock offers a more involved build than its smaller HG counterparts, with layered armour, internal construction and plenty of opportunities for additional detailing.

The kit includes 17 moulded runners, Tetron stickers and Gundam decals, giving builders the option to take the finished model beyond the basic out-of-box build.
