Celestial Being’s Heavy Artillery Gundam
The GN-005 Gundam Virtue is one of the four third-generation Gundams deployed by Celestial Being during its armed interventions in Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Each Gundam was created around a specialised combat role:
- Exia – close combat
- Dynames – long-range precision
- Kyrios – high-speed aerial combat
- Virtue – overwhelming heavy firepower
Virtue is effectively Celestial Being’s mobile artillery platform.
Its enormous armour, twin shoulder-mounted GN Cannons and devastating GN Bazooka allow Tieria to overwhelm enemy formations with concentrated particle weaponry.
Virtue’s Massive Armour
At first glance, Virtue looks completely different from the other original Celestial Being Gundams.
It’s huge.
The bulky white armour gives the machine an almost fortress-like appearance, with enormous shoulder units, heavily protected legs and massive GN Condensers incorporated throughout the design.
The MG recreates this imposing silhouette beautifully, with layered armour and mechanical detailing that really benefits from the larger 1/100 scale.
Despite its bulk, the underlying engineering allows Virtue to achieve an impressive range of poses.
Transform Virtue into Gundam Nadleeh
This is the feature that makes the MG Gundam Virtue something special.
Remove Virtue’s external armour and underneath you’ll find the slender GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh.
Bandai Spirits recreates the armour purge system using removable components across the:
- Head
- Chest
- Shoulders
- Arms
- Waist
- Legs
The difference between the two forms is dramatic.
Virtue is massive, heavily armoured and built around overwhelming firepower.
Nadleeh is slim, agile and almost skeletal by comparison.
Being able to recreate both machines from a single Master Grade makes this an exceptionally interesting build.
GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh
Hidden inside Virtue, Gundam Nadleeh serves a very different purpose.
Its distinctive appearance includes the long red GN Cables extending from the head and body, giving Nadleeh one of the most unusual silhouettes in Gundam 00.
The MG kit carefully recreates these cables while maintaining the articulation of the underlying Gundam.
Once Virtue’s armour is removed, the completed Nadleeh is a fully realised model in its own right rather than simply an internal frame.
Massive GN Bazooka
Virtue’s signature handheld weapon is the enormous GN Bazooka.
The weapon can be displayed in several configurations and recreates the devastating particle cannon used throughout the anime.
Its size alone gives the completed model incredible presence.
Virtue can hold the weapon across its body for conventional firing poses or position it in its more powerful firing configuration in front of the chest-mounted GN Drive area.
Twin GN Cannons
Mounted over Virtue’s shoulders are two enormous GN Cannons.
The cannons can be repositioned for combat and provide the Gundam with additional heavy firepower.
Combined with the GN Bazooka, Virtue can be posed as the walking artillery platform it was designed to be.
There’s something particularly satisfying about putting Virtue on the shelf with every cannon pointed forward.
Subtle it isn’t.
GN Beam Sabers
Despite being designed around long-range bombardment, Virtue isn’t completely helpless when an enemy gets close.
GN Beam Sabers provide the Gundam with close-combat capability and give builders additional posing options.
The same equipment can also be used when displaying the model as Gundam Nadleeh.

The larger 1/100 scale allows Bandai Spirits to pack the kit with mechanical detail.

Tieria Erde Pilot Figures
The MG includes figures representing Tieria Erde, giving builders another opportunity to add detail to the finished project.
