The 30MM Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon RaD CC-2000 Orbiter Nightfall #01 is Bandai’s first model kit in its 30 Minutes Missions (30MM) line based on the acclaimed video game Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon. It recreates Nightfall, the iconic Armored Core piloted by Raven, featuring the rugged industrial design and heavy weapon loadout that made it one of the game’s most recognizable machines.
Designed with Bandai’s signature snap-fit engineering, the kit requires no glue and can be assembled using only basic modeling tools such as nippers. Standing approximately 130 mm (5.1 inches) tall, it offers excellent articulation, allowing builders to recreate dynamic combat poses from the game. The model also uses the standardized 3 mm connection system found throughout the 30MM series, making it highly compatible with other kits and option parts for extensive customization.
The Nightfall kit includes its complete weapon arsenal, featuring the RF-025 SCUDDER rifle, PB-033M ASHMEAD pile bunker with an extended firing effect part, SONGBIRDS dual grenade launcher, and BML-G1/P32DUO-03 missile launcher. An alternate head part is included to reproduce the Assault Boost mode, along with marking stickers for added detail. These accessories allow fans to faithfully recreate memorable scenes from Armored Core VI or design entirely new custom Armored Cores.
One of the model’s greatest strengths is its balance between accessibility and detail. Although intended for beginners, the kit features sharp panel lines, layered armor construction, and impressive mechanical detail that reward experienced builders with panel lining, weathering, and custom paint work. Its modular construction also makes it an excellent platform for kitbashing with other 30MM products.
Released in September 2024, the RaD CC-2000 Orbiter Nightfall #01 marked the debut of the Armored Core VI series within the 30MM lineup and has become one of the most popular entries thanks to its faithful design, poseability, and customization potential. Whether displayed straight out of the box or heavily modified, it captures the aggressive, industrial aesthetic that defines Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon and serves as an outstanding addition to any mecha model collection.

This kit is amazing. Been wanting it for ages and finally got it. Sculpt is to my knowledge 100% accurate to the game and the attention to detail is on point. The colours are great too but do require paint to be 100% accurate but it’s not necessary. The only thing holding it back is posability. The shoulders can’t move all the way out which isn’t a deal breaker but does leave a bit to be desired. Also the price on this kit is a bit steep but I didn’t care to much about it.
