Eternia’s most notorious villain has never looked so adorable.
Bring the evil lord of Snake Mountain to your collection with the Nendoroid Skeletor #1776, based on his appearance in Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Produced by Good Smile Company, this compact articulated figure transforms He-Man’s legendary nemesis into classic Nendoroid proportions while retaining his unmistakable skull face, purple armour, blue body and wonderfully excessive collection of weapons.
Pair him with Nendoroid He-Man #1775 and you’ve got everything required for a miniature battle over Eternia.
Skeletor – Evil Lord of Destruction
Few cartoon villains are as instantly recognisable as Skeletor.
Operating from Snake Mountain, Skeletor and his collection of evil warriors relentlessly attempt to conquer Eternia, defeat He-Man and obtain the secrets of Castle Grayskull.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation brought Skeletor back with a modernised interpretation of the classic character while retaining everything that made his original design so memorable.
Blue skin.
Purple armour.
Skull for a face.
Subtlety was never really an option.
Three Face Plates
Good Smile gives Skeletor three interchangeable face plates, allowing you to change his expression depending on exactly how evil he’s feeling that day.
The included expressions are:
- Standard expression
- Laughing expression
- Angry expression
The standard face provides the classic Skeletor appearance, while the angry face is perfect for combat displays.
The laughing expression is arguably the most important.
If you’re going to be a skull-faced supervillain living inside a giant purple mountain, you’ve got to enjoy yourself.
Havoc Staff
Skeletor’s legendary Havoc Staff is naturally included.
Topped with its distinctive ram’s skull, the staff is one of the character’s most recognisable accessories and immediately completes the classic Skeletor appearance.
Equip it for commanding poses, magical attacks or simply have him wave it threateningly at He-Man.
Power Sword
Skeletor also comes with his own Power Sword.
This provides the perfect counterpart to the sword included with Nendoroid He-Man and allows you to recreate the long-running struggle for the power of Castle Grayskull.
Put the two figures together, equip both swords and you’ve got an instant Masters of the Universe showdown.
Shaping Staff
The accessories don’t stop there.
Good Smile also includes Skeletor’s Shaping Staff, giving the figure another piece of magical equipment from the Masters of the Universe universe.
It’s a great inclusion for collectors who want something beyond the obvious Havoc Staff and provides another way to vary Skeletor’s display.
Sword & Staff Combat Poses
With multiple weapons and interchangeable hands, Skeletor can be configured for a variety of displays.
Pose him:
- Holding the Havoc Staff
- Wielding the Power Sword
- Using the Shaping Staff
- Fighting He-Man
- Casting a suitably evil spell
- Laughing at whatever ridiculous plan he’s come up with this week
The compact Nendoroid proportions make the oversized weapons look even more entertaining.
Fully Articulated Nendoroid
Despite standing only around 100mm tall, Skeletor features the articulation expected from Good Smile’s Nendoroid range.
The joints and interchangeable components allow you to create both action and character poses while maintaining the exaggerated Nendoroid appearance.
An included display stand provides additional support for more ambitious configurations.
Snake Mountain Display Background
One of the nicest extras isn’t technically part of the figure at all.
The inner cardboard packaging features Snake Mountain artwork, allowing you to use the box interior as a background for Skeletor.
It’s a clever way of turning something that would normally be discarded into part of the display.
Stand Skeletor in front of Snake Mountain and you’ve effectively got a miniature Eternia scene straight from the box.
Combine with He-Man’s Castle Grayskull
This feature gets even better when Skeletor is paired with Nendoroid He-Man #1775.
He-Man’s packaging contains a Castle Grayskull backdrop, while Skeletor gets Snake Mountain.
Put the two displays together and you’ve got the heroic and villainous sides of Eternia facing each other.
He-Man on one side.
Skeletor on the other.
The Power Sword in between.
That’s a lot of childhood nostalgia occupying a surprisingly small amount of shelf space.
The Perfect Companion to Nendoroid He-Man
If you already have He-Man, Skeletor is almost compulsory.
The two releases were designed as companion pieces, with sequential Nendoroid numbers:
#1775 – He-Man
#1776 – Skeletor
Together they recreate the defining rivalry of Masters of the Universe.
And let’s face it, He-Man standing alone on the shelf looking heroic isn’t nearly as entertaining as He-Man standing opposite Skeletor while both wave oversized weapons at each other.
Classic Skeletor Design in Nendoroid Form
The Nendoroid proportions work surprisingly well with Skeletor.
His skull face was already exaggerated.
His armour was already exaggerated.
His weapons were definitely already exaggerated.
Making his head enormous somehow feels completely natural.
Good Smile retains the key elements of his Revelation appearance while translating them into the cute-but-still-evil Nendoroid aesthetic.
Pre-Painted and Ready to Display
Nendoroid Skeletor is supplied as a pre-painted articulated collectible figure.
There’s no model-kit construction required.
No painting.
No glue.
No panel lining.
No decals.
Simply choose the expression, attach the weapon you want and begin plotting the downfall of He-Man.
Much easier.
Build a Masters of the Universe Collection
Skeletor works perfectly as the villainous centrepiece of a wider Masters of the Universe display.
Pair him with:
- He-Man
- Other Masters of the Universe collectibles
- Classic MOTU figures
- Masters of the Universe: Revelation figures
- Snake Mountain merchandise
- Castle Grayskull displays
The Nendoroid’s compact size also makes it easy to incorporate into a larger collection without sacrificing half the room.
Unlike Jumbo Machineder Grendizer.
That thing wants the whole shelf.

Why Add Nendoroid Skeletor to Your Collection?
Because He-Man without Skeletor is only half the story.
Nendoroid Skeletor #1776 takes one of the most recognisable villains of the 1980s and shrinks him into approximately 100mm of skull-faced evil.
The three expressions give him plenty of personality, while the Havoc Staff, Power Sword and Shaping Staff provide an unusually generous selection of accessories. Add the Snake Mountain packaging backdrop and you’ve got plenty of ways to create your own miniature Masters of the Universe display.
But pair him with Nendoroid He-Man and that’s where the fun really starts.
Two figures.
Two Power Swords.
Castle Grayskull.
Snake Mountain.
And one rivalry that’s been going on for more than 40 years.
Tiny body. Giant skull. Absolutely no reduction in evil. Nendoroid Skeletor #1776 brings the Lord of Destruction to your collection in gloriously ridiculous Nendoroid form.
